A lovely couple approached me with a recent purchase — a house in such disrepair I initially feared it was beyond reasonably saving.  We ultimately decided enough of the bones of the house were salvageable to restore & highlight the original dark-stained crown moldings & trim, brick chimneys, and rich wood flooring. Where major structural repairs were required, we enlarged and reconfigured the kitchen, bedrooms, baths and closets for a more open feel and modern amenities while keeping the spirit of the original spaces. A complete restoration of the home’s exterior and new landscaping transformed an eyesore into a neighborhood jewel.
